Your Port Royale 4 team
Christmas event (active from 15th-31st December)
The optional Christmas-themed changes to Port Royale 4 can be enabled or disabled in the Graphics tab of the Options menu. Please note, any alterations made here will send you back to the main menu, so make sure to have saved your game before making any changes.
- The Christmas event will be active from the 15th until the 31st of December
- The event adds several visual changes (such as those to the loading screen, towns, and ships) to make the game a bit more festive

- Following a manual battle, players can now choose to either collect prize money or sink any additional captured ships. If ships are returned to their home nation, these can be used to form new military convoys

Pausing the game
- Players can now pause gameplay using either the Spacebar or by selecting this option via the HUD
- We’ve addressed some balancing issues for mission objectives: adjusting some values and removing duplicate objectives
