Steam-Users are the first ones to jump on the Railroad Tycoon-bandwagon and blow of some steam with a pre-purchase ticket! Different from usual trains, the presale of Railway Empire on Steam offers first-class service: Besides access to the closed Beta (Steam only, Windows PC only) digital conductors also enjoy an exclusive custom paint job for the ‘Super Hudson’ locomotive, a digital soundtrack (both available at launch) as well as a 15% discount.

Beta players are also authorized to join the loco(-motive) (editors note: “loco” as in “crazy”) developer crew in the Steam beta forums to discuss every aspect of the game and help to make Railway Empire the best Railway-experience to date!

Additionally, a new trailer for the Tycoon-simulation Railway Empire and several screenshots have been released. In Railway Empire, players create an elaborate and wide-ranging rail network, purchase trains modelled in extraordinary detail, and build railroad stations, maintenance buildings, factories and tourist attractions to keep their travel network ahead of the competition during the American Industrial Revolution.
